Shahid Kapoor starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which tends to the issue of power bills, will hit the theaters on August 31, 2018. Helmed by the producer of Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer superhit film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Shree Narayan Singh, the film will be created together by T-Series and KriArj Entertainment. “With T-Series, we celebrate Janamasthami with Batti Gul Meter Chalu… this Shahid Kapoor starrer, directed by Shree Narayan Singh to release on 31st Aug 2018,” tweeted the official twitter handle of KriArj Entertainment.
With another social dramatization, Shree Narayan plans to concrete his place in Bollywood. The film advances the logical inconsistency between the extended periods of energy cuts and the amusing high power charges that dive an opening in the normal man’s pocket.
Prior in a meeting to PTI, Shree Narayan discussed working with Shahid Kapoor and stated,“With films like Kaminey, Jab We Met, Haider and Udta Punjab, Shahid Kapoor has definitely proved his mettle as an actor. Having said that, his star presence is undeniable and I look forward to working with him.”
The creators of the film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu had before released a first look of the film, which is required to go on floors soon.Shahid Kapoor is as of now preparing for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s masterpiece Padmavati where he will be seen depicting the part of Maharawal Ratan Singh. The film likewise includes Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji. The film is set to hit the screens on December 1.
