Upcoming Hollywood Releases In 2019 – Release Date, Cast and more details!

 

1. Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker

Date of release: 20th of December 2019

The Episode IX will now serve as the finale to the trilogy. The audience will finally get to see the true fate of Rey and Kylo Ren after the death of Luke Skywalker in the upcoming Star Wars.

2. It: Chapter 2

Date of Release: 6th of September 2019

Nothing much is known about the It movie, but we can expect that the clown will return and if the books are followed, this will take place a few years later. So the cute kids won’t be there anymore. Anyhow, Pennywise will now return to haunt their asses, and we will pay good money to see that in this movie.

3.Frozen 2

Date of Release: 22nd of November 2019

Frozen 2 has been slated to release on the 22nd of November, and we simply can’t let it go quickly. I alone can’t speak for, but I simply cannot wait for Frozen 2 to see Rudolph and Reindeer and how Olaf manages to live when it’s not snowing anymore in their place.

4. Pokemon: Detective Pikachu

Date of Release: May 2019

As a young adult teams up with the Detective Pikachu to find out what made his father disappear so suddenly. As they try to chase clues all over Ryme City, the dynamic duo finally discover a larger plot that usually poses a threat to the Pokemon universe.

5. Wonder Woman: 1984

Date of Release: 1st of November 2019

Let’s not kid ourselves anymore. At this point of time, it’s the only DC movie that we would actually pay to watch it in the theatres. And it is now set in the 80s and then the creators are bringing in the Wonder Woman’s longtime nemesis in the comics, Cheetah. Right at the moment, this movie is slated to release on the 1st of November.

6. Rocketman

Date of Release: 31st of May, 2019

This film Rocketman is actually a biopic on the life of the very known legend, Elton John. Taron Edgerton in this film plays the lead as the movie covers John’s formative years from being a childhood prodigy to his excellent partnership with the lyricist Bernie Taupin.

7. The Lion King

Date of Release: 18th of July, 2019

I am pretty sure none of us are still ready for the Mufasa’s death. Anyhow, we will now all be watching it and also probably crying in the theatres. But that is okay.

Because, as Donald Glover is Simba, Beyonce is Nala, and John Oliver is Zazu and hell, Seth Rogen is Pumba. And in case that the cast impressed you, by looking at the trailer, it will give you nerdgasms.

8. Brightburn

Date of Release: It is already Out now in (US)/ and released on 21st of June, 2019 in the UK

James Gunn may be rebooting the Suicide Squad and then returning to the direct Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, but his superhero ambitions are not limited only to DC and Marvel. Which were Produced by Gunn, and written by his brother Brian and cousin Mark, directed by David Yarovesky, the upcoming movie Brightburn seeks to put a sinister twist on the superhero genre with the tale of a young boy named Brandon.

9. Spider-Man: Far From Home

Date of Release: 2nd of July, 2019

It was long ago that the fans thought they would never see one of the biggest Marvel superheroes joining the MCU, but a big thanks to a deal that was between Sony and Marvel Studios, because of which we are getting a sequel to the Spider-Man: Homecoming this year.

As the title itself suggests, Spider-Man: Far From Home will now see Peter Parker/Spider-Man and all of his friends from the first film taking a trip to Europe, where he hopes to enjoy a little downtime with the love interest MJ.

10. Hobbs and Shaw

Date of Release: 2nd of August 2019:

Cast: Vanessa Kirby, Jason Statham and The Rock

Rock and Jason Statham lead this Fast and the Furious spin-off, which also sees the duo form an unlikely alliance in it.

11. Downton Abbey movie

Date of Release: 13th of September 2019

Cast Starring: Maggie Smith, Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville

The Production has reportedly wrapped on the film, which is now set to star Downton favorites Maggie Smith and Michelle Dockery and Hugh Bonneville.

12. Joker

Date of Release: 4th of October 2019

Cast: Joaquin Phoenix, Zazie Beetz, Robert DeNiro

We think Can Joaquin Phoenix give Joker as much gusto in this origin film as Heath Ledger did in The Dark Knight? But we have to wait because time will tell…

13. Zombieland: Double Tap

Date of Release: 11th of October, 2019

It is now official! That we are getting a Zombieland sequel this year. Almost a decade after the first film proved to be a zombie comedy like no other film, the original director of the movie Ruben Fleischer (Venom), original writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool), and the original cast members Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin are all now back for a second outing.

This sequel also welcomes new cast members Rosario Dawson, and Luke Wilson, Zoey Deutch, Thomas Middleditch
