Ilayathalapathy Vijay has issued an official proclamation saying thanks to everybody who bolstered him and his new film Mersal, which has been amidst a seething political contention. He has offered thanks to his industry companions and political gatherings which remained by him through the debate.
“My new film Mersal, which released on Deepavali, is running successfully in theatres drawing a lot of people’s appreciation. Along with the big success, the film has also received a few objection. My friends in the film industry, and national and regional political parties and their leaders, media friends, and my fans have given a great support for me and my Mersal team,” he said in the statement. “I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for this,” he added.
Mersal struck gold in the cinema world even as it has mixed a national verbal confrontation on a few fronts. The BJP pioneers in Tamil Nadu contradicted to specific discoursed mouthed by Vijay, which they said has demonstrated the Modi government’s pet undertakings like GST and Digital India in poor light.
